A special thank you to the amazing parents (Rhonda Marco, Daniela Villamizar, Marisa Rolen, Cheryl Nuss, and Amber Thomas) who sent snacks for the team and to the Booster Club for providing a Panda Express lunch on Saturday for all of the students. Your support helps make these long tournament days possible, and we truly appreciate it!
Happy Birthday to our amazing coach, Mr. Baker! The team surprised him with a cookie cake, a case of Coke Zero, and a card to celebrate the big day. It was a small way to say thank you for everything he does for our students and our program. Mr. Baker puts in countless hours coaching, encouraging, and pushing our team to be their best, both in competition and in life. His dedication, patience, and sense of humor make such a difference to every student he works with. We’re incredibly lucky to have a coach who cares so much about his team and who shows up for us every single day. We hope you had a great birthday, Mr. Baker!
LOUDCUPS are officially IN! This 16 oz 2-in-1 tumbler combines your favorite drink with a built-in blow horn, giving every Grizzly fan - moms, dads, and kids - a fun, unforgettable way to cheer louder than ever. Check out the video to see the cup in action!

We have the incredible honor of hosting the 2026 Bluebonnet World Schools Debate, welcoming student teams from Italy, Peru, and Dubai to our community. To make this international experience truly special, we are looking for generous families willing to open their homes by providing a guest room for visiting students. We also need help with transportation to and from the airport. Hosting is a meaningful opportunity to build global connections, share our community’s hospitality, and give these students a warm and memorable stay while they compete. If you are interested in serving as a host family or helping with airport rides, we would love to hear from you. Your support will make a lasting impact on these students and our program.
As we look ahead to the upcoming school year, we are actively seeking dedicated parent volunteers to serve as board and committee members for our Booster Club. Our program continues to grow, and it takes a strong team behind the scenes to support students, tournaments, fundraising, travel, hospitality, and special events. Whether you have leadership experience or simply a willingness to help, there is a role for you. Serving on the board or a committee is a meaningful way to directly impact our students’ opportunities and success, and many hands truly make lighter work. If you’ve been looking for a way to get more involved, this is it!
The Booster Club membership fee is vital for the success of our 200+ students in the program. Pay the $150 fee by clicking the link below, or by Venmo to @GOSpeechDebateBooster noting the student’s name in the memo.
