Throughout the competition season, students earn qualifying points at each tournament they attend. The number of points awarded depends on the event, placement, and round advancement. These points determine whether a student becomes eligible to compete at State or Nationals.

When students talk about “going to Nationals,” they are referring to the NSDA National Tournament, which includes top performers from across the country.
Students must earn 25 NSDA points to qualify
Points are earned through NSDA-recognized tournaments
