At tournaments, your appearance is part of your presentation. Students should dress in a way that is professional, polished, and authentic to who they are.

You do not need an expensive wardrobe, but clothing should be neat, appropriate for competition, and something you feel confident wearing.

Professional Dress Options

Appropriate tournament attire may include:

• Dress pants or slacks

• Dress shirts or blouses

• Conservative dresses or skirts

• Sweaters or professional tops

• Blazers or suit jackets

• Suits

• Ties, if desired

• Dress shoes, flats, loafers, or other professional closed-toe shoes

Please Avoid

• Denim

• Athletic wear

• T-shirts or hoodies

• Tennis shoes or athletic shoes

• Clothing that is overly casual, distracting, or uncomfortable to compete in

Students are encouraged to incorporate Grand Oaks colors — royal blue, orange, navy, or gray — when possible.
